“Notorious” Documentary Coming To U.S. In November

A documentary on the career of UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor will receive a one-day U.S. theatrical screening.

The Hollywood Reporter stated that the film will be shown on November 8 through Trafalagar Releasing.

The movie, directed by Gavin Fitzgerald, will be released first in Ireland with a special interview with McGregor taking place. It follows his career from pre-UFC through his bout with Floyd Mayweather earlier this year.

Damien Brown, a native of Australia, has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 121 card vs. Frank Camacho.

Set for November 18, the event takes place inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia with Fabricio Werdum meeting Marcin Tybura in the main event.

Brown (17-10) has split his four Octagon appearances, with Camacho (20-5) looking for his first win after dropping his debut.

Gegard Mousasi earned a victory in his debut with Bellator Friday night, besting former champion Alexander Shlemenko

Mousasi-Shlemenko served as the main event for Bellator 185, airing live on Spike from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mousasi improved to 43-6-2 in his career with the decision, claiming two of the three rounds on all three cards.

Neiman Gracie remained unbeaten, submitting Zak Bucia with a neck-crank in the second round.

Kristina Williams scored an upset in her pro debut, finishing former boxing champion Heather Hardy via doctor’s stoppage. Also, Lisa Blaine defeated Ana Julaton and Ryan Quinn topped Marcus Surin in the other main card bouts.

Veteran stawweights Tecia Torres and Michelle Waterson will meet in Detroit at UFC 218 later this year.

Set for December 2 from the Little Caesars Arena, the card features Max Holloway defending his featherweight belt vs. Frankie Edgar.

Torres (9-1) has picked up back-to-back victories over Juliana Lima and Bec Rawlings since a 2016 decision loss to Rose Namajunas. Waterson (14-5) had her own two-fight win streak snapped by Waterson in April of this year.

The two have been added to the UFC Fight Night 123 card, which goes down December 9 from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Brian Ortega takes on Cub Swanson in the main event.

Alex Caceres has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 122 event, as the former Ultimate Fighter competitor takes on Wang Guan.

Set for November 25 from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, the card features Anderson Silva vs. Kelvin Gastelum.

Caceres (13-10) will be trying to move above the .500 mark inside the Octagon, as he is currently 8-8. Guan (16-1-1) makes his debut with the promotion.

Also announced was a welterweight contest between Li Jingliang and Zak Ottow.

Jingliang (13-4) has posted a 5-2 UFC mark, with Ottow (15-4) going 2-1 over three appearances.

The event takes place December 9 from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Cub Swansin vs. Brian Ortega is penciled in as the main event.

Lopez is a perfect 8-0 in his career, including a win on Dana White’s Contender Series. Morales (7-2-1) has posted a 1-2-1 mark since signing with the promotion.

Set for November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York City, the bout was added to the prelims for the night.

Godbeer was scheduled to face Harris at UFC 216, but after Derrick Lewis was removed from a fight with Fabricio Werdum, officials inserted Harris. That left Godbeer without an opponent.
